Eastsound Water has scheduled the 2018 the Association’s Annual Meeting.
At the recent September 18 Board Meeting, several recommendations from the Rate Committee were approved. These updated policies will be shared at the Annual Meeting and are intended to clarify reasonable water use thresholds for any single water user. The previously announced rate structure changes that will be taking place on January 1, 2019, will also be reviewed (again).
The meeting will feature the election of board members, a review of 2018 water system improvements, and the planned improvements for 2019.

UPDATE 10/19/18: Eastsound Water is hosting a membership meeting on Wednesday, November 14 between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. at the Eastsound Fire Hall.
The meeting agenda includes:
- Election for 3 open Eastsound Water Board positions. (See attached proxy voting form on reverse side)
- Review of the new rate structure being applied to all bills sent after January 1, 2019.
- Announcement of new Reasonable Water Use Policy. This policy is intended to better define the volume of water each member is allowed under the new rate structure prior to application of surcharges.
- “State of the Water System” Report with recent projects completed, near turn future water system improvements, and review of annual system growth and water use metrics.
