To the Members of Eastsound Water,
At Olga Water Users, we’re both neighbors and partners of Eastsound Water. It’s been concerning to see the turmoil that has engulfed the board at Eastsound over the past several months.
Since we contracted with Eastsound Water to operate our system, we’ve seen steady improvement in our operations. The team at Eastsound manages our system professionally and competently. There have even been specific instances where the Department of Health has suggested that we use Eastsound Water as a model for making improvements to our system.
OWUI is on a path toward modernizing and securing our water system and users rights for the future, and we hope that EWUA and their people can continue to be a great operator for us as they have been for you these last few years.
We appreciate the skill and dedication of the team at Eastsound Water, and hope to continue partnering with them for a long time to come.
