Water Mains are the underground circulation system that delivers water from our wells and treatment plant to your homes, shops, and offices. Eastsound Water’s original water mains were installed in the late 1950’s and early 1960’s, making then +50 years old, and coming to the end of a reasonable life expectancy.
In the past 10 years, Eastsound Water has been actively replacing our oldest, leak-prone, water mains to create a more efficient, reliable, and safe water system.
Below is a map of the water main upgrade projects Eastsound Water has accomplished in the past 10 years. The Eastsound Water Board is reviewing plans for the next 20 years of water main replacement. When approved, these plans will be posted. “Stay Tuned”.
